eligibility criteria
To qualify for listing on the saibl database of business service providers, BSPs have to meet the following criteria:
::.. Be a registered entity (company, cc etc)
::.. Persons working in the BSP should have relevant qualifications and experience
::.. Must have office infrastructure and reliable internet connectivity
::.. Must have competency in MS Office applications
database of bsp's
saibl maintains a database of BSPs providing expertise and support to black enterprises. BSPs listed with saibl are marketed to saibl clients and its partners, and are always considered in assignments contracted by saibl.
The current saibl database contains details of BSPs providing services in the following areas:
- Strategy, leadership, management and business planning
- Operations, quality and environment
- Finance, human resources, industrial relations and management information systems
- Organisation and management (structure, functions, etc.) improvements
- Trade development
How do I become a registered BSP?
- Submit the application form
- Attend an assessment meeting
- Provide saibl with contactable trade references
- Allow saibl to conduct an assessment of you business premises
Upon being successful in the above steps, you would go through the Foundation Training Workshop covering the following modules:
- Positioning for Success
- Ethics in Consulting
- Assignment Management
- Business Writing
- Picking Sound Companies
BSPs that wish to become listed to do company diagnostics would also be expected to complete the Advanced Training Workshop in the following modules:
- Understanding Finance
- Business Strategy Company
- Diagnostics Theory
- Company Diagnostics Practical
